Girls Only Chess Day Wednesday 26th April 2023

Come and play in the fun events being organised for this day!

This year we have decided to hold the Girls Only days on the first Wednesday of the public school holidays each term, rather than the last Tuesday and it means that girls won’t necessarily need to play 4 days in the last week if they want to play in the tournaments organised for that Wednesday – Friday. This term though, we have had to make it the second Wednesday since the private schools go back a week earlier than the public schools and iso we have had to bring the City of Adelaide Junior forward a week – very sorry for any inconvenience that may cause.

We had about 50 girls of all ages and abilities last year

All free – including the pizzas!

It will take place at the Chess Centre, 10 Ranelagh St, Adelaide and we will have some of the State’s best women players on hand to give you advice on how best to play this wonderful game.
