Australian Junior Preparation Tourn 1

This 2-day event is intended mainly for juniors planning to take part in the Australian Junior Championships in Melbourne and consists of 2 days with 4 Rapid Games per day – 30 minutes per player + 10 sec increments. Juniors who are not planning to take part in the AJC but who have a rating and appreciate that these events are intended to be serious and players are expected to write their moves up until the last 5 minutes are welcome to take part but please contact Alan first on 0401 672 481.

The Chess Centrre will be open from around 8:30am each day.

The tournament starts at 10am  each day  – schedule 10am, 11.15am lunch 12:30 1pm and 2.15pm to finish at 3:30 each day 

The cost for the 2-days is $40 + if you require pizza for lunch it is an extra $5 each day
