The SA Chess Association Introduces a new Tournament format to its Interclub Teams Competition:

This might be the ideal way for juniors to seriously improve quickly by playing in a mixed competition with Adults on a Tuesday evening. It requires teams of 2, so possibly a parent and child or two juniors may make up a team.

 C GRADE COMPETITION

• Ideal for beginners and players of limited competition experience 
• Maximum Rating 1000 or unrated
• 2 Player teams
• 2 matches with Time Control for both matches of 25 Minutes + 10 Seconds a move from move 1 for each player
• Rounds depend on amount of entries received
• Playing Fees $10 or $7 Concession
• Starting Time 7:30 pm
