2018 Australian Schools Teams Championships

Updated September 23rd, 2018

The SA Junior Chess League is delighted to be conducting the Australian Schools Teams Championships on behalf of the Australian Chess Federation in Adelaide on Saturday and Sunday, 1st-2nd December 2018.

Each state and territory is entitled to send four teams to compete in the Championships – one team in each of four sections:

  • Primary Open
  • Primary Girls
  • Secondary Open
  • Secondary Girls

The teams participating are normally the winners of the various state schools competitions. (For this reason the Australian Schools Championships are sometimes referred to as the “Australian Schools Finals” or the “National Schools Finals”.)

The SAJCL extends a warm welcome to visiting teams and their supporters – we aim to help make your stay in Adelaide an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
